The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Bojidar Lukarski, was on a visit in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 18th to 20th October 2016. The visit was part of the official visit of Minister Lukarski in Vietnam. He was accompanied by an official and a business delegation. The delegation led by Mr. Lukarski, visited the industrial zone "Vietnam - Singapore" in the province of Bin Duong, where he met with the leadership of the zone. Bulgarian guests were acquainted with investment opportunities in the area and visited one of the plants in it. Mr. Lukarski opened a Bulgarian-Vietnamese business forum organized by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency and Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. The forum was attended by businessmen from 8 Bulgarian companies and nearly 50 Vietnamese companies. Minister Lukarski was received by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong. During the meeting was discussed the possibilities for cooperation and mutual investments.
