A celebration for the Day of Slavic Alphabet and Bulgarian Culture was held on May, 24th, 2015, in Ho Chi Minh City The celebration was organized by the Commercial and Economic Office in Ho Chi Minh City and the Association of Bulgarian-Vietnamese Friendship in Ho Chi Minh City. Over 500 Vietnamese citizens, who studied and worked in Bulgaria, and Bulgarians, who are living in Vietnam attended the celebration. The vocal group of the Association of Bulgarian-Vietnamese friendship in Ho Chi Minh City performed a concert of popular Bulgarian and Vietnamese songs. They sang "My Country, My Bulgaria", "One Bulgarian Rose", "For you, Bulgaria", "A Song for Vietnam," "A Song for Ho Chi Minh" and the popular Vietnamese folk song "Qua Cau Gio Bay". Bulgarian cosmetics, wines, cheese and spices were presented during the event. The celebration ended with a lunch with Bulgarian and Vietnamese dishes.
